FS and your bedroom

The bedroom is one of the key rooms we look at in Feng Shui. Your room must be located in one of your positive direction based on their Gua number. The headboard must not only be pointed towards one of your positive direction, but also be situated against a wall for support. In trying to do this however, you should make sure that your legs are not directly faces the entrance/door. Things to watch out for:

1. First, protection. Make sure you have a headboard and place it against the a wall. If your best direction happens to be against a window, if you have a headboard it should be fine.

2. Make sure that your bed have legs and that there's nothing is stored underneath to allow the Qi to circulate.

3. If you have a footboard, make sure it's not higher than the mattress.

4. Portruding overhead lights or fans are not recommended. A flat ceiling over the bed is also preferred over ceilings with exposed beams.
