Practice and Purpose

The author's purpose of creating this website is to share a valuable knowledge about Authentic Classical Feng Shui. What is present here is helpful to those who are interested in learning about Feng Shui or the practice of harnessing positive energy (Qi) present in the environment we live in and avoiding the negative energy to promote personal health, harmony and prosperity. In general, Wind & Water offers knowledge and skills on the theories and practice of classical Feng Shui.

Authentic Classical Chinese Feng Shui is not a religion, mysticism or superstition. It is the science of understanding the complex forces of nature and their impact on our lives. In addition, Feng Shui should not be referred to as Metaphysics or Divination. This practice is not a form of ascertaining information about the future by supernatural means often associated with religion.

In authentic Classical Feng Shui, each formula or application is executed with care and careful calculations that takes TIME, ENVIRONMENT, BUILDING or PROPERTIES and the OCCUPANTS into consideration. It is dependent on two major factors: a thorough understanding of the classical theories as well as the skills in applying the formula.
