​Buying a home is probably the most important thing a person will do in his/her lifetime. It is therefore advisable that you consult a Feng Shui practitioner to make sure that the house you are about to purchase is located in an area where the energy (Qi) is positive and that the home matches the occupants (Ba Zhai). For those who already bought a house or has signed a lease to an apartment or a house, and finds themselves suddenly having problems with their marriage or career, there are ways to weaken the negative energies or maybe even fix the problem. Negative energies in our surroundings (e.g., home, office) can have negative effects in so many part of our lives (e.g., promotion, relationships, business, health, etc.)

 

What results can you achieve after a Feng Shui consultation?

 

For every consultation, the first thing a practitioner will ask you is: "What do you want?" You can use Feng Shui to improve your health, wealth or relationships but you have to decide what is more important to you. For some, money may be more important and put health secondary or last on the wish list. So, prior to consulting a Feng Shui practitioner, you need to first know what you want most. After a consultation, although results do not happen right away, you will immediately feel better about your environment unless there is Sha Qi (negative form) that cannot be removed or alter. In this case, you can either move or at least be aware of why the problem is occuring. With good Feng Shui, you will be focused, creative, full of ideas. You may also experience good fortune and see an improvement in your love life.

 

What to expect?

 

Before you see the consultant, you will be asked for your and the rest of the occupants' date of births, gender, names, etc. A Bazi chart will be plotted to determine their Gua numbers, auspicious directions, etc. Additional information and materials include, the date the house was built (or move-in date) to plot the House Gua and email or mail a copy of the floor plan. It will save you time and money to have these information and items ready for the consultant. Finally, the site visit will include evaluation of the topography on the way and around the property. If the outside is already problematic, often we won't look inside. However, if the environment is fine, we will then evaluate the inside of the home, beginning with the main door, the kitchen, and the bedrooms. There have been instances where the breadwinner may have to use a bedroom other than the master bedroom. Remember, it's not about what you have in the house, it's location, directions and timing.

 

How much does it cost?

 

Consulation fees depends on the location and the square footage of your home or office. A small apartment (600-800 sq ft), for instance, may cost between $160 to $300. Some properties may require more than one visit. Feng Shui evaluation to your home is similar to a doctor's visit. One must diagnose, prescribe cure and follow-up on the patient. So, most home evaluations require a follow-up phone call or visit at no additional cost. Please pay by cash or check placed in a Red Envelope. Consultation fees include the plotting of the charts, travel, site visit and follow-up (via phone or email).
