Eight Mansions Feng Shui: Eight Houses
To map the energy or qi of a house or property, Eight Mansions Feng Shui method is used. I will provide quick reference for all 8 Houses to make it easier for you to determine the energy map of your home.
To use the information below, you must first determine the Facing and Sitting direction of your home using a compass. Then, draw a floor plan of your home (if you don't already have one) and draw nine grids over it. Finally, mark the palaces according to the compass directions.

Now, looking at the floor plan above, you can see that this house is good because the best direction (Life Generating) is at the entrance. The kitchen storage and bathroom are also located at the negative sectors which is great. However, the second floor has major issues: The master bedroom is located in a negative sector. In this case, use Bedroom 3 or fine-tune by positioning the bed pointing towards NE. Just make sure there's a headboard and curtain to cover the window.
